However, installing posed a problem because the anchors that were supplied were not adequate enough to mount securely to the wall. So I went down to the home depot and bought some butterfly anchors, which seem to have done a better job securing my monitor to the wall. My recommendation for anyone purchasing this product and is looking to hang it directly on the drywall is to buy a couple butterfly anchors to make sure it stays secure.
Lesson learned, I guess. Buy the mount for whatever the price is and don't factor in any Rosewill rebates.
The only other non-issue is the cable management feature. It's really not worth the hassle in some setups. Being that it requires you to funnel the cables from one side of the strip, it may not be feasible. It definitely wasn't for mine, but that is more of a feature I wish I could use more so than a knock against the product.
The couple I've owned for a long time now have yet to have any problems. For those worried about fires and smoke, I haven't had a single problem. Still do your diligence when you get yours though by making sure your smoke detector working and you place it where you can potentially see problems. Until you get through your first couple months of breaking it in, I feel you can still have a higher chance.
