My husband is a gamer, and he built me a gaming computer so I can enjoy WoW with him. This is the power supply he chose for me.
This sucker is a beast compared to what I have owned in the past.
I can run WoW 25 man raids with absolutely no lag ^_^
Near max capacity it became the hottest thing in my case, and in hindsight I wish I had measured the temps under load. 8 pin connector was too short for both mobos I've had in the lifetime of my PC. I also ended up requiring extender cables for SATA and fans.
My build was:
Mid tower case
AMD Phenom II 955 w/ stock heatsink and fan
16 gb DDR3
1TB 7200 rpm HDD
1 optical DVD drive
3 case fans
I think this would work fine if you're doing a build with a smaller board and case because the cables are shorter, and this is not modular. Good for a low key build. Probably not enough if you're calculating needing more than 400W.
Bonus: after six years it was never dusty at all, which is great because I am too lazy to have ever cleaned it.
Awesome all around.

Rosewill Stallion series power supplies work wonderfully. I have put them in many machines over the past few years, and have yet to have a single one fail on me. Read morePublished 3 months ago by thepcwhiz
Did NOT come with the PCI-E connectors I needed. No reason it shouldn't have, but it did not have the 4+2's I required.Published 5 months ago by Jason B
Rosewill makes a great power supply. This is the one component of a desktop PC that fails most often so finding a quality unit at a reasonable price is a must. Arrived as promised.Published 5 months ago by bfleury
Had a bad power supply on a +/- 3 year old computer, and ordered this one as replacement. Worked as promised!Published 9 months ago by Shawn Thorn
