First reaction was what the heck was this: I sprinkled this over their hay. They moved to another spot where there was hay without it. It's new so perhaps they will try it later. I will update this review if things change. My biggest problem with this was that the bag was so pummeled in the shipping container that a lot of it turned to dust. I don't know if it was not particularly fresh so broke up a lot or what. It was packed with blankets I ordered. Might try a different brand and hope for different results.
Now a few days later, Daisy my guinea pig really likes it a lot while Minnie is more interested in the hay than what is sprinkled on it. Daisy rather hogs it though so she might just not think it's worth the trouble. I feel much better about the purchase and plan to see if my two boy guinea pigs might like it now. I do wish it had not had so much of it turned it powder in transit which is why it is not a five star rating now.

I've purchased this nature's salad forage several times over the past few years and my guinea pigs absolutely love it. It's been a bit more difficult to find nowadays and the price has gone up a bit, but my piggies are incredibly picky, so finding something they truly enjoy is feels worth the extra effort. There's a great mix of herbs, pea flakes and some grains as well that give the piggies plenty to munch on and keep them interested. Not to mention, because of the herbs, it's also nice and fragrant. This company's customer service is also really good. When my package got lost in the mail, they were super helpful and prompt in their assistance, and reshipped this product to me, free of charge. My piggies and I are grateful and we will most certainly be purchasing this product from this seller again in the near future.

Our girls LOVE this stuff. I usually buy it at our local Walmart but can't always get over there. It sucks that they don't ship it because it's only $3/ 7oz bag there. I won't pay the crazy marked-up price from Amazon vendors.
I'd give this product higher marks except that it does contain popped corn which is a definite choking hazard. Half the bag ends up as powder also, so it ends up more as a hay or pellet topping after the bigger pieces are gone. It's fine as an occasional treat but most of it isn't very nutritious for our pellet-producing friends. H

I work at petco and have three hamsters. We do sell a product very similar to this, but it's a teeny tiny quantity for about the same price as this! With three hamsters, not worth it, but this product is amazing. It has so many goodies in it from sticks, to leaves and dried flowers. The sticks in particular are nice for teeth-grinding which means I dont need to buy those separately in addition to everything else! I scatter this amongst their cages for them to forage and it's all gone by morning. It has this rich herbal, woody smell to it which is also kind of nice, but stront to those who may be sensitive to it. I've bought this twice and will continue to do so!

I bought this for my guinea pigs and they went crazy for it. They really enjoy it and it's a lovely treat for them. My one word of caution for cavy keepers is that one of the boys bit into one of the yellow pieces (looks like corn maybe?) and got his teeth stuck in it. It was fine, he could breath and I was there to help him, but it gave him a little bit of a fright. He still loves this mix though haha! I don't have a problem buying it again, but if you do have guinea pigs, maybe just make sure you break up the yellow corny bits into smaller pieces to prevent this happening. If that puts you off, I highly recommend trying one of the other Rosewood mixes. I've tried several different ones with my animals and they love them all :)

I can appreciate a few sticks and non-edibles getting into the packet through harvesting, but I was expecting most of the pack to be as advertised: "marigold, dandelion, nettle, carrots and plantain", so I bought these for my rats. It wasn't, about 60% of the pack was sticks and twigs, completely inedible and the rats hated it. It ended up going to waste as I ended up throwing most handfuls in the bin as they were just twigs.

I appreciate some animals may like twigs, but lots of small animals (which the pack advertises for) don't, and I would hardly call a bag of mostly sticks a 'salad'. Wouldn't recommend for rats.

I bought this for my two rabbits but, when it arrived, found that it contained corn which was not evident on the ingredients label shown when purchasing. It is not advised to feed rabbits corn as it can cause digestive problems. I won't be buying again.

Here's my baby...I mean bunny (Darcy) enjoying his salad. As soon as he hears the rustling of the packet he's right there wanting his treat. We're towards the end of the packet so it's mostly all the smaller bits that have fallen to the bottom but that doesn't stop him from tucking in. I need to order some more now!
