This is a fun book for children and families and makes a great gift idea.
I'm a little dissapointed, the book is just okay. The crafts just don't seem original or all that crafty....for example painting canvas sneakers, friendship bracelets with embroidery thread, tie dye (with little direction, if any on what type of dye to purchase), painting plates, using pushpins to decorate pillar candles... just not what I was hoping for.
Three stars for the nice layout and pictures and hope that these will be crafts my daughters will take pride in doing on their own when they're older, maybe in the tween years.
I spent some time at my local library looking at craft books before making my purchase decision. It was time well spent, because some of the high-rated books were just crammed full of ideas for decorating for millionaires. This down-to-earth book is perfect for a regular working mom with preschooler children.
