It was shipped from Taylor Gifts inc. in a timely manner and arrived in good condition.
Caution ; There is also another advertised without specifing the operation uses batteries/or adaptor. This one is cheaper but is hand operated with a crank.
It also works for a variety of fruits and veggies: apples, lemons, limes, cucumbers, zucchini, etc.
Don't hesitate in buying this. With the cost of only $30.00 it's well worth the money even if you were to use it only a few times.
I originally ordered this as a gag gift for her as a Christmas present. And wouldn't you know that of all the gifts I bought her that year this is the one she loved!! She said it was so easy to use and did a fantastic job. As a matter of fact she said after over 50 years of peeling potatoes with a knife she was going to retire her potato knife. She has tried apples and pears and said it worked just as well.
One of the main reasons she loves this is it has the ac/dc adapter. Being on a fixed income batteries can tend to be too pricey. So that was a nice feature.
She was extremely happy with this product and I'm glad I finally bought her something she raved about. (something besides slippers and pajamas)
