Durable and thicker than most canvas bags.
I bought this because I wanted to make an old style seabag I could use for travel. It’s fairly big when you get it with no handles on it. I cut it down in size, added a pocket, a handle and a shoulder strap. I would definitely purchase again. The canvas is thick and it seems to be durable.

    No doubt this will work as an introductory sandbag. If you dont drop or slam it, this bag will handle 200lbs without much issue and possibly more for awhile. You're never gonna tear this thing up with laundry, that's for sure. If used with soft material like clothes or tent fabric I can easily imagine this lasting for a decade or more of day in, day out use. And its huge; 200lbs of sand wouldnt have this bag half filled.

    I use it for loaded carries, biceps curls, cleans, clean and press, and bent row warmups; your imagination is your limit with these. You could develop an incredible Pendlay Row with this sandbag alone. Sandbag work is 30 to 50 percent more challenging than free weights of a similar weight. Sandbag work of this type will also turn your hands into lethal weapons. The stress unique to sandbag work makes your hands very strong and tough.

    So if you're curious about sandbag training but don't want to drop $175 on a Brute Force bag in case you end up not liking it, this is a great option. If you want to incorporate tossing and slamming into your workout, you'll need to buy the Brute Force bags.

    The only possible complaint someone may have with this is it's made of rough material.

    It's not often that a person would be so happy about a laundry bag, but this time, i am! My son is a large young man at-6 foot 3, and chunky build, and also has king size sheets and stuff, so it was a constant problem to find him something for all his laundry-well, problem solved! Yay! this thing reaches to well over his stomach in height when u stand it up next to him, is EXTREMELY sturdy, and boy, can u stuff alot of clothes in it!!!!! well worth my money, getting another for myself asap!

    Oh, and by the way, for those saying it shrank-wash it the way u would other things u dont want to shrink-in cold wash, and either air dry completely, or, dry on cool/low enough to get it to not dripping wet, and then hang it somewhere to dry the rest of the way, and this bag will last you a very long time! we are happy campers indeed!

    I've been using this bag as a laundry bag for about a year now. It's very large, larger than you would think from the description (though I believe the description is accurate, it's just a perception thing). It's very durable and has shown no signs of wear, and I have to walk almost a 1/4 mile to the laundromat with it over my back. The only complaints I have about it are about the draw string: One end of it came untied the day I first used the bag, but that was a simple fix (just re-tie it). The other minor problem about it gets tangled when you're trying to load a mass of clothes into it all at once.

    Update: it's been over 4 years now since I purchased this bag, and it hasn't changed a bit. It is still just as strong and looks just as good as when I bought it. This is one tough bag.

    It is a sturdy laundry canvas bag - better than what you can get at a big box store in Toronto. I paid more for this bag than an average laundry bag at a big box store, but it is worth it given the quality and durability - probably last me for many decades because the last one I had (from a big box store) ripped after a decade of use.

    The only downside is the canvas came marked with black dirt or grease - very light and minor. It occurred in the factory where the machines made or stored it - I can tell it wasn't a clean work area where the bag was made or packaged. These marks were on the outside and inside of the bag. I was able to clean it with a pre-wash via laundry soap bar (it was pretty much removed) and now it is in the wash before I use it.

    Just in case anyone thought it would be a perfect beige bag out of the package. Just inspect it for dirt beforehand, pre-treat with laundry soap and give it a wash.
