The most popular Roundwound bass string ever. Rotosound was the first string company to produce this kind of string. Introduced in 1962 it changed the sound of the instrument instantly. The favourite string of many players including Billy Sheehan, John Paul Jones and Geddy Lee. Available in all popular gauges and scale lengths. The steel used to produce these strings is unique, combined with a highly secretive manufacturing process.

Stainless steel is better than any other composition for slap bass and other funk styles.
Top reviews from other countries
They are rough on the fingers (as one of the reviews has said on here) which is painful after some time. But more importantly, your fingers kinda 'stick' to the strings as they are rougher than the nickel ones causing you to delay your note. Not good.
I wanted these to work but sadly I have to say these are the worst strings I could recommend to any bass player (and I have played a good number of them!!!) and I will not be buying another set.
