Rotozip SS355-10 5.5 Amp high-speed spiral saw system with 2 accessories
Top customer reviews
The motor is substantial and quickly revs up to a high RPM. The on-off switch Is excellent and very easy to use. It is on the top and you slide it up to turn on and push back down to turn off. This makes using the rotozip as a mini-router or a a "spiral saw" very easy to control and work with. The setting, similar to a router, allows you to adjust the depth of the cut.
Second, I've always wanted one of these, but never had the need. I purchased this to clear out the grout on my kitchen floor. Boy was that a mistake. I ended up getting a multi-too for the that task, but kept this because I had some ceiling work I wanted to do and knew this would be a good tool for the job.
All in all this tool came in handy cutting through the ceiling (combo plywood and insulation) and installing the new diffusers. Balance is the key to a good cut. I was all over the place until I got the hang of it. Good thing I had plenty of room to work with as I really made a mess on the first try. For that reason, I recommend new users start off in small portions inside the finished cut until they get the hang of it. Then move on to the real cut. Great tool though...
