Really like the design of this lazy susan. It is elegant and functional. The building process is not easy. It will challange your woodworking skills and will also probably teach you a few neat tricks at the same time. The laminate inlay is especially nice. I would suggest making your first lazy susan with pine then graduate to a finer pice of wood. On a difficultly scale 1-5 I would rate this a four. You need to make a couple of simple jigs that will help in the process of making the octogon shape, Inlay and roundover. Tools you will need are a table saw, Jointer/planer, clamps for the glue up, drill or drill press and a wood chisel. Good video and detailed measurement instructions
