When I bought this book I wasn't sure what to expect and unsure if parting with $25 was a good idea. I was glad I made the purchased it and really enjoyed reading it. From a production standpoint it's very well done. It's not just text on blank pages, but is filled with graphic, artwork, and creative use of fonts. It is on the short side, about 80 pages. However, it's intended to be a glimpse into someone's life, not an autobiography. I was satisfied with the length and given the quality of the book, and the fact that it's autographed, feel that it was a good value.
Thanks Johnette, . . . looking forward to Volume II, if there is one.
Otherwise I found the book to be an easy read, a very interesting story which is artfully told. The story is a rough mix jumping to lyrics and then back to the narrative of a sometimes troubled but colorful life. Although there are not many pages the book is definitely a page turner, especially if you are a Napolitano fan.
Ah yes, the second reason for the lack of a 5 star rating ... the story ended nicely bit abruptly. I wanted more.
the Book itself is Nicely Done, Very Short, but Well-Written, Nonetheless. It's only around 80 pages, but a Good Read and Extremely Concise.
Johnette Uses sketches to embellish the Text... It is Definitely a Must-Have for Her Fans. Her signature is on the first page. The Reader is Given a
Glimpse inside the Life of a Rock-Band's Rise to Fame and Fortune. I Was Impressed and Would Definitely Recommend This Book to the Many Fans of
Johnette and Concrete Blonde. It Rocks. Thank You.
The book only occasionally pops up on Amazon. I was lucky enough to pick it up
