It covers relationships and a curious backstory unfolds as the character continue their journey so provide a feeling of the 'murder mystery' with the guessing component but without the darkness of such novels. Instead of sinister plots, there is drama and it is very easy to follow the author as he presents character you can easily love and others who you question.
It is a contemporary novel that also takes you on international journeys where you will visit Europe, North American, Australia and New Zealand so some of the locations may even be familiar to you.
An interesting thing about this book is that it is complemented by an album which is not required but can be purchased separately. There is a musical theme throughout the novel (don't worry, it won't put your own musical skills to the test) so the album is an interesting addition that could be viewed as both supporting the story but also a prize.
What if life threw you a curveball and sent you off on a different path? What if you were given a life-changing circumstance and you ran with it.
This is the underlying message of ‘Rowan and Eris’.
Jefferys has written an interesting tale where the main character, Rowan, sets off to find a possible daughter and ends up discovering more about himself.
The author gives us an intriguing story of circumstances, actions, emotions and destructive personality traits, where they take us in life, and how we deal with it. A story in which we can see a part of us all.
