This was never designed to replace your home iron. Buy an upright steamer for that purpose. I have a Rowenta upright and it works just fine.

This is a travel steamer - goes in your suitcase. You use it to steam wrinkles out of the pants and shirt you are wearing that day, put it away and use it tomorrow to do the same thing.

So water tank is plenty large for that purpose, and level of steam is sufficient. It is well made and priced very well. If you understand the intent of it's design it will be more than sufficient for touching up wrinkled clothing as the result of packing a suitcase. Replaced a Steam Buddy I had which basically is junk and you should avoid that one.

I love this steamer! I have used it on all kinds of fabrics - shower curtains, comforter, dust ruffle, sweaters, slacks, etc. It does require a little patience in sweeping the steamer SLOWLY down the item being steamed, while allowing the brush edge to gently touch the fabric. It is still quicker than ironing, heats quickly, and I can do 2-3 sweaters with 1 fill of the water reservoir. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the size. It's a little big to use easily in 1 hand.

This steamer has to be refilled pretty often, but the procedure is easy and quick. It won't help with deep wrinkles in heavy fabrics, but it does an OK job with silk blouses. Ironing silk blouses causes shine, so this is a good option, although I did not get the results I hoped for.

Perfect for removing huge wrinkles without giving a pressed look. My grown children do not like the ironed look but don't want people to know that their clothing live in plies on the floor! This steamer is consistently working, not for ironing just for freshening clothes that are less formal.

I love this steamer, it was used but you'd never be able to tell because it works perfectly. It's light to handle and does the job in a few seconds. I have a larger floor model but it's bulky and clunky to work with especially for small jobs. I couldn't be happier!

My last travel steamer was a Rowenta & I loved it. Powerful & lasted 10+ yrs so I thought this Rowenta steamer would be perfect, but it's the worst steamer I've ever owned. The steam emitted was very weak. It took 20 mins to steam a polyester dress that would normally take 5 mins. Had to steam the same area over & over. Then it would suddenly just stop working. I finally got it to work by turning it upside down but then it spit water everywhere. And I HATE the buzzing sound when you press the steam button. What's the purpose of that?? Tiny little water tank too. The only plus is the long cord. This steamer is garbage! What a frustrating waste of time. I took it back immediately and ordered the Jiffy travel steamer online which is fantastic - it's worth the extra money. Rowenta used to be great...what happened? I heard their steamers are manufactured in Mexico now.

This is really easy to use especially if you need to look presentable and are in a rush. So much easier than ironing! I really like it and would recommend it to all of my friends.

It is a nice quality and durable and works well.

I like it better then the ones that sit on the floor with a bar rising out from the top to hang your shirts like this one:

SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric Steamer

because that style keeps toppling over even before i hang my shirt on it. My room mate has this style, and she is always borrowing my steamer... that says something.

I've been looking for a steamer, since I hate ironing. I've only used it a few times, but have had great results. I had a wrinkled dress shirt & it worked, but it did take up just about all of the water supply. I also used it on a fabric bag. The steam also helped get out a few light stains on the bag. I will admit that I bought it at Target on sale for $25 for this model. I would shop prices.
