The first 2 in this series were 5 star reads, I loved them. I was a bit concerned with this being the alternate POV from the first one, Jag, as Jag was a "can't put down" read. I really enjoyed this & the alternate POV was done very well, although at times it became a bit repetitive with Roxy about how broken she is. I found myself skimming those parts. Then the storyline/timeline went beyond what was in Jag & that bought it up to 4 stars. It was wonderful to read how their story ended. I am so glad that it ended how it did. I don't know if there is any more in the series that will be written but I will definitely be reading them.

First off, I had no clue this was the third book in the series, but thankfully, you don't get confused. It could be read as a standalone.

This is a story of letting people in, trusting, forgiving and letting yourself be loved.

Roxy has had a hard life. She's lost one of the most important person because of drugs. Because of that, she's closed herself off. Shut everyone out.

She would have never known that her birthday gift to her sister would change her life completely. Meeting Jag Steele will knock her off her axes. He's arrogant, womanizer, druggie, famous rock star. He is everything she hates, and more.

Their beginning is crazy, But with one another they can put their broken pieces together and make each other whole. They'll confide to each other things they've never told other's.

Can loving someone so fiercely heal them. Will the love Roxy has for Jagger, can that be enough for him to stay sober... or is love not enough?

This story is seriously one of growing, fighting your demons and letting someone in, someone you've least expected. The way Stevie Cole writes is awesome. The story continues to expand throughout the book. We see these two fighting for what they want, what they believe they need. It's a rocker love story in all scenes of the word. It's angst, maddening, loving, messed up and all around good. At first of had a really hard time getting into the book, and I don't know why. But finally it grabbed a hold of me and I had to know what happen to these two. I had to know their screwed up fairy tale. I will definitely be looking into the previous book's, because like I stated, I didn't know this was a series or even the third book.

I loved Roxy and Jag in Jag but holy hearing this from Roxy's side makes me love them even more. There is totally true love with these to and at times Roxy gives us a feel of what she went through and why she won't go through it again. I also love that no matter what one goes through in life not having the one you love can be worst then what life has thrown at you. You also see what one will give up to have what they truly love.

Roxys side.... I was a little nervous going into this book.. i put off reading it for months after reading Jag thinking it was just going to be a reread just in a female perspective... boy was I wrong! Sure there are some of the same scenes from her view but that makes it more real to me.. and by reading this story i learned so much more about the relationship that is Jag and Roxy. It goes deeper and deeper than I could have ever thought! The emotion i felt coming from these pages were massive and i only wish that there were other books to follow on Stone and Pax!

Hmmm...not sure where to go with this one. I'm a big fan of the Pandemic Sorrow family. The series is REAL, it's not sugar coated, it's dark and depressing sometimes. I'm pretty sure that the sex, drugs and rock-n'-roll lifestyle is pretty accurate. I had been looking forward to Roxy's story because I was interested in her female POV. I was expecting it to pick up where the story left off, but instead it was mostly Jag from another view. While there was some new content a lot of it had already been told. It makes me think it would be a good standalone or maybe if I hadn't read them back-to-back and had forgotten more it would have seemed less repetitive. I was at almost 80% before I made it from past to present. I'm a big believer in alternate POV. I like to know how both characters feel, but within the same book. I know that's a personal preference, it just makes it more enjoyable for me, making me less likely to skim till I get to a part where I don't already know what's happening. As readers we all like what we like, right? Roxy is a really good story and I enjoyed reading it. I especially enjoyed the sibling banter between Roxy and her sister Layla. My favorite scene was on Layla's 21st birthday, Roxy bought VIP tickets as her present. When they were heading to the meet and greet before the concert she told Layla, "Please don't rape the guy. I spent all my money on these tickets, which means there would be no bail money." I must admit that even though I already knew what would happen between Jag & Roxy through most of the story, the experience was still just as devastating. I felt the pain just as much from Roxy's POV. They are both so broken and it was hard to witness their anguish.Read more ›
