It gives an extremely well rounded set of daily exercises, and I am getting firmer and more energetic. Also, since some of it is done on the floor, I can see my ability to quickly get up increasing, which is so important for the 50+ crowd! It only takes 12 or so minutes, and you are finished. I very much believe that this program is a terrific method for getting fit and maintaining it. Don't hesitate to try it.
Its greatest advantage is that it's **not** for muscle builders or jocks: It's specifically targeted to the average person who wants to maintain a healthy level of personal fitness throughout their life, from childhood to retirement. I'm not a medical professional, but if you check with your doctor before starting, and if you are honest with yourself about where you start the program levels, it should work for most people. I'm just over a month into the daily 5BX program and I'm very pleased with the results to date. (I do four of the five exercises while I wait for the morning coffee to brew!)
Now, years later, I find myself coming back to this program because of the convenience and results. My only wish would be that I was a bit younger so I could achieve more levels, but all in all, I am quite satisfied!
Would recommend in a heartbeat and have been searching for a company to do a reprint for literally years.
