I'm assuming this is a decent cutter for arts and crafts and those with little ones running around based on its reviews so far. However, I needed it for cutting a lot of straight edges on paper for work, and this it couldn't do. I tried with different paper amounts (from 1 to 10 pages at a time on the guillotine side and 1-5 on the other) and all of them resulted in disappointment. The blade is dull to the point that it curves the pages slightly when bringing the guillotine down so that none of the cuts come out straight (even when pressing down very hard on the plastic edge that is supposed to hold the pages in place).
Okay, overall:
Pros:
1. Locking mechanism on guillotine is very good for those with children around.
2. Light and portable
3. Maybe good for arts and crafts because of different blade options
Cons:
1. Neither side can cut straight.
2. plastic guard that is supposed to hold pages in place when cutting does not really work even when pressing down very hard because the blade is so dull it will ending up pushing the pages around rather than cutting right through them.

4. It is primarily plastic so I'm not sure how long it would last
5. It can't cut straight!
I'm returning this product as I need consistently straight edges for work. Had it been for casual purposes I may have kept it.
