Received my Royal Gourmet Regal GB2000 2-Burner Propane Gas Grill Griddle last week. Arrived on schedule in 2 days from order placed on Amazon. Assembled on Friday. Made dinner on Saturday.
Product quality met my expectations. The general design of the griddle is good. The cooking surface itself is very sturdy and well built. It uses only one size screw fastener for all assembly. Nothing was bent, although the box was pretty beat up. A minor flaw in the build did not permit two screws to reach the treading holding the back of the cook top to attached to the stand. But there are 8 other screws supporting that role in the direct vicinity, so hence I consider this minor.
This thing gets plenty hot. I was skeptical on the BTU ratings in the product description. But I would say they are true now that I've actually used it. The heat was well distributed. The cross bars under the cook top seem to be quite effective. I preheated the griddle at max burner. Dropped the heat to med to cook these smash burgers. Great browning/charring of the beef and onions at this temperature with this cooking surface.
The accessory hooks hang a bit too low for my cooking tools, allows them to touch the ground, so they are not very useful for me. The side table gets hot, and anything on the table will get a blast of radiant heat from an unobstructed path from under the cook top. So Nothing plastic or glass on that shelf for more then a few seconds.
Generally the griddle is stable during cooking... no dancing around. The handle at the end of the shelf and the wheels work well to move the unit around . It also holds it's ground when scraping the burned stuff off the cooking surface. The lack of a proper cover sucks. The non-matching one I bought is a horrible fit. I'll likely customize it to fit better.

UPDATE (06/05/22)
So, I am sad cook. Due to griddle size, I was not able to find a hard cover for it. This winter was a bit rough and water seeped through the cover I had. Now my grill is damaged and is peeling off. I have been trying to find a replacement grill top but no luck. I may need to purchase a complete new grill. But going with different brand simply because I need a cover.

So I had a little trouble setting this up. Either I wasn't reading the instruction correctly or they were clear enough. ANYWAY, I set it up on my own. Proud of myself. 😁.... it did take me a while to test it out. Weather wasn't helping much. I finally got to use. It heats up beautifully. Like any other cooking appliance, you have to find the 'nitch' and once you do its cooking time! I love it. Just wish I had gotten this in early summer instead of late summer. Wah wah. Easy clean up.
