I haven't used this yet because I'm debating on returning it, this review is strictly on appearance. Seems to lack quality control as you can see from the pictures: the welds are horrible as if a 10 year old apprentice did them and the top of the griddle show the weld marks as well as other marks. The 2nd to last picture shows a piece of metal that is a little wobbly, not completely welded. I believe I read another review with the same issue

MFG. Needs rethinking this Skillet

I don't like bashing products but the ones that I find faults after I've used it and can't return kinda burns me a little..1st..It gets hot..on low its to hot, even around the edges for food that requires low heat..2nd..If you're designing a flat skillet with a grease drain you should have a drip pan thats over 1/4 inch deep..And 3rd..When you remove the skillet there's a ..I quess a wind deflector that will cut thru a leather mechanics glove and cut your finger like a razor if you happen to strike it while cleaning the base..Great concept but definitely needs some tweeking..I plan to buy another brand..

Purchased as a returned product from Amazon Warehouse and I’m sure glad I did! When I received this griddle it came with a note from the person who owned it before giving it a zero rating and it was DIRTY! The griddle surface was caked with burnt food.Reviewed in Canada on September 21, 2021
Some warm water and a sponge quickly removed the burnt on food and the griddle was up and running perfectly.
Some tips:
Griddles need to heat up before you oil them.
Use a wooden scraper or spatula to occasionally clean the griddle surface. This is not Teflon or cast iron but ceramic coated metal. Things may stick if there’s not enough oil.
Warm it up on medium but cool on low.
Don’t cool in the centre. Cook on the outskirts unless you want to fast fry something really greasy in the centre of the griddle.
When finished cooking wait for the griddle to cool slightly, scrape it with the wooden spatula and then wipe it down with a paper towel moistened with cooking oil.
Very simple and easy to use but it’s not idiot proof.

It was fairly easy to assemble. I've used it several times with no issues so far. I like that the top/cooking surface can just be lifted off and cleaned in the kitchen sink. I believe there should be at least 3 (maybe 4) leveling nuts instead of just the 2 to make it easier to slightly tilt the surface for grease drainage. I did have some issues with this so I ended up using another nut of my own. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that it seems like a good product, so far.
