If you even searched the words HAND DRYER and thought you would get a quiet one, then you do not need a hand dryer. I love love love this right now it is on the counter but we are putting it on the wall in the bathroom and buying one for the kitchen also. Yes it makes noise how could it not, it does the job. It dries your hands , no more hand towel that someone forgets to put in the wash getting re used and less paper towel usage yaaay! We loved it right out of the box and will buy more!!

I bought this one for my kitchen, after I purchased a wall mounted one for my bathroom. This is smaller and much more powerful, than the one I for the bathroom. Had I realized the bottom of this one can be removed and mounted to the wall, I would have bought this one for the bathroom. I am actually going to buy this one for the bathroom, once I get over having shelled out money for the other one last week.

Noisy but works good. It makes my feel like Im not constantly wasting paper. But be prepared for some hearing loss when done. I suppose I need to attach a det of community earmuffs to the side of it to keep from going deaf. There is no getting away with a midnight snack if you use this thing to dry your hands first. Everybody will know what your up to even in the most remote corners if the house. I stll gave it 4 stars because it my sound like a jet engine but it dry's your hands like a champ and quickly. I will just keep a hand towel ready for my midnight snack. I think if you're ok with a few second of loud turbulence then you will most likely like it as I do.

Measure the Unit before Wall Mounting

The reason I chose this particular dryer is that the reviews seemed show satisfactory performance from only 900 watts pf power consumption. As my2nd floor is entirely on one 15 amp lighting circuit I have to be a little careful even though the lighting is now all LED. I was happy enough with this unit to buy a second for wall mounting in my second bath. I read the installation instructions for wall mounting, which specified what I thought was the center to center distance between mounting holes (and therefore between mounting screws) as 106.00 mm. As a check on my reading, I measured what I thought was the same distance on the unit as around 99 mm, and wound up using this distance for a successful installation. My freebee metric ruler may be incorrect, or the instructions may be lagging a product update, or vice versa, but I was not, as some might suspect, measuring from the end of the ruler. I'm still glad I bought the unit, but I'm also glad I checked.
