- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2013Good product, never even read it, but its nice to have if we have any problems with the RS232 cables I guess, lol
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2019So, it is not enjoyable weekend reading. However, if you need to maintain or work on older equipment that relies on serial (RS232) connectivity, this is a great resource to have around, even though it is *VERY* dated.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2019This was my go-to book1994-97. I was working with a lot of 232,422&485. This was the book that covered pretty much all the gotchas on any sort of DTE, DCE & null modem.
I've just ordered a copy for posterity, I still use UART, but it's been an age since I saw a DB9. (2017, serial interface on a DMM and bench supply, thankfully no GP1B).
