The Rubbermaid FG748018 WaveBrake side press combo high-performance mopping system has a 26-quart (24.6 L) bucket with molded-in wave baffles to reduce splashing, graduated marks for measuring contents, and a side press wringer, tested to exceed 50,000 wringing cycles, that includes a tubular steel arm with a contoured handle for better grip. The bucket and wringer are made from yellow structural web-molded plastic for better strength-to-weight ratio than standard injection-molded plastic. This system can help earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits. This mopping system is suitable for commercial and industrial applications. The bucket rolls on four non-marking casters for mobility, and has a metal wire handle to facilitate lifting and emptying.
Combination mop bucket and wringer systems, also called combo mopping systems, consist of a bucket with a wringer (usually removable) that connects to the side or top so that water wrung out of a mop will drain into the bucket. The bucket often has casters for mobility. The wringer can be a simple strainer, used by pushing a wet mop against its walls, or it can have a mechanism operated by an arm that squeezes water out of a wet mop by forcing it against a strainer.
Rubbermaid manufactures cleaning, organizing, and material handling products for commercial, medical, and industrial applications. The company, founded in 1933, is headquartered in Huntersville, NC.

You can visualize a residence where this equipment is convenient to use. For example, imagine rolling the bucket (with the mop and wringer still in it) onto a back patio (without having to maneuver it over the lower channel of a sliding door). The patio has a smooth surface, no flaking concrete. You roll the bucket to the edge and dump the dirty water on the lawn. You pick up a convenient garden hose and refill the bucket. When you are finished mopping, you roll the bucket into a spacious closet that has room for its approximately 16 inch by 27 inch footprint (with the wringer in place) and accommodates the 36 inch span from the floor to the top of the wringer handle.
The residential user needs to buy industrial sized mop heads. The small mop heads sold at grocery stores won't work with this product. The mop wringer lets you exert plenty of force, but the jaws of the wringer stop when they are over an inch apart, so the wringer won't squeeze out a small mop. Wet industrial sized mops are noticeably heavier than residential sized mops and they are overkill for small mopping jobs.
If you didn't arrange your dwelling with the thought of commercial mopping in mind, you can contemplate the following. Perhaps you will refill the mop bucket using the sprayer on the kitchen sink and stand there for several minutes while a fine mist of water gets other things in the kitchen wet. Or perhaps you're the rough-and-ready type who will put the bucket in the shower or the bath tub.Read more ›
the plates in this mop bucket dont squeeze all the way together so it can not squeeze the water out in smaller mops
i need a mop that is about 2 inches across maybe one of them big professional industrial size mops with lots of yarn
or other obsorbant material i wish the plates in this mop will come closer but it has a strip of plastic that prevents the mop from beings squeezed real well when smaller mops are used there is a big gap between the plates when they come together i wish that plastic strip was not there and the plates can come closer together
i iwll have to buy another mop for this mop bucket it is very well constructed and made of such sturdy plastic and not glued together iam happy with the sturdiness and its more durable then the other wringer mop bucket by rubber maid
The ringers always break down on us.
We use it in the restaurant and it gets used often.
We used to get about one to three years of life out of Rubbermaid ringers.\
Now I go through about 5 to 6 a year.
This one is better than the last ones I got. It lasted a little over a month before the plastic started to crack.
I have sent in complaints and have yet to here back anything on it.
Time to shop for a different brand I guess.
Any suggestion on better ringers??

This bucket is great. Very heavy duty. With the wave break I can move it around violently without spilling water. I recommend itPublished 1 month ago by jose ramirez
