I loved these, until a shard of glass popped off

These glass, tightly lidded containers are so convenient for storing leftovers in the fridge and for microwaving them safely in the same container later. I’ve used the whole set without any issues, until today, when one became a hazard. I had reheated a small amount of leftovers in the microwave, in the shallower dish, so it wasn’t too hot to eat right away. I stopped eating halfway through and set the dish aside. A minute later, I heard the sound of a pop, looked over at the dish and saw a 4” long shard of glass in my food that had broken off from the inner edge of one side of the rim. It’s hard to see where the shard broke off in my photos, because the glass is clear, but that shard can be seen on the bottom of the dish (I cleaned out the food before photographing). Although I’ll keep using the other ones for storing food in the fridge, I’m no longer confident about the safety of these for heating food in a microwave. Glass shouldn’t break apart like this when it hadn’t suffering from an impact.
