Never buy ANY plastic again! So far these are the best all around glass containers on the market. I have the original plastic Rubbermaid Brilliance and lo and behold, same as all other plastic containers, they cracked and scratched in no time. After reviewing Rubbermaid’s warranty, I phoned Rubbermaid and they are sending me a small refund for the defective pieces. Definitely not enough to cover what I paid originally for the plastic set or the amount for the new glass set. At least Rubbermaid is willing to some what back their product. I have several glass container sets, Pyrex, which are also great, 2 Wesley Jensen brand sets from BJ’s warehouse which are of good quality. But, bar none this Rubbermaid Brilliance glass set is top notch.

I love how you can place the lid on it and push on the center and you can hear the air coming out of the container. Locks easily and I have had zero issues with these. This is the only brand I could find that offered tritan plastic lids that won’t stain and look almost as nice as glass. They’re more expensive, but they offer that huge upgrade over normal plastic, and I’ve had such terrible experiences with these no name Chinese brands on Amazon, that I prefer to purchase from known and established brands on here.

Switching to glass. Love that the base of these are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. I’ve had some instances of the lids being really difficult to remove, like they get suctioned down along the rim and the seal is hard to break. I wonder if others are having this? But I love how you can see the contents and how they stack neatly in the fridge.

I bought the plastic versions of these years ago and loved them. It's now been about 3 years and they are starting to crack but the lids are still pristine. I did a major clean out of all my take out containers and needed to replace them with proper containers so I wanted the same thing I had without the plastic. These are the best of the best in my opinion! Glass is thick, lids are air tight which is great for taking food to work and if you leave the flaps up it has air vents If the food is still warm and you need leave it out to cool before putting it in the fridge. Highly recommend 👌

I've been using these for about a month now and they are great. The lids snap on in two places so when removing them unlatch and then press against the glass and plastic lip at the same time to ease them off. The seal is firm so it's best to take your time removing the lids. The glass is sturdy and now instead of microwaving after emptying the contents onto a plate I microwave the glass portion without the lid directly in the microwave and that's great added convenience. I liked these so much I ordered 2 separate 8 cup (the largest included in this set) after about 3 weeks of using these. Versatile sizes with this bundle for for large leftovers the largest ones work best. The medium size ones are great for packing lunches and reheating right in the container. The lid may or may not be microwave safe as they say but I just feel better only microwaving the base. Great products!
