I don't generally review products, but for what I paid for this vacuum it’s a 10+ from my viewpoint. I liked it so much I bought a second one before Amazon changed their price. This is truly a quality commercial vacuum, but I bought them for my home. I have wasted serious cash on many of the overpriced residential vacuums over the years. I don’t expect to need another vacuum again for many years to come. I use commercial vacs at work and I’ll put this one up against NSS, Windsor, Proteam etc. because it’s the same quality for so much less money!
To be critical of this vacuum the hose could be more durable. The hose may pop out of the wand if you stretch it too far, but that is easily fixed by putting the fitting back on the hose by turning the fitting counter clock wise. This thing is also a little heavy, but it glides across the floor very smoothly. This is a great carpet vacuum with very good power and suction that will be just ok on hard floors as there is not a way to turn the brush off. I have pets and it really picks up the pet hair on floors and carpets. From a person that knows and buys many commercial vacuum cleaners for a large organization this is a great vacuum cleaner. Don’t buy the overpriced, low quality residential vacuums, just get the Rubbermaid 9VMH-12 if you want an excellent vacuum for your money.

and over the years we have purchased many vacuums and for the price we payed for these I would say it is one of the better ones
