Top Customer Reviews
Pros: Don't have to use or wash a spoon
Can see how much is left at a glance because it's clear
Quick and easy to stir drink mixes
Cons: Can make a mess if you fill all the way before trying to stir.
Not as smooth a motion as Pampered Chef
Not quite as much stirring motion as Pampered Chef (so it takes a little more to stir it up)
The top extends below the spout opening so that you can really crank up the churning without worrying too much about oversplash.
This really mixes packets well if you pick it all the way up above the water level and push back down into the water. You will get a lot of splashing and maybe some bubbles this way but I'm sure if you had something that didn't mix as well as Crystal Light packets then this could still work out for you simply by using that method. Keep in mind it can actually spew out of the top and leave residue on the top of stirrer so try to only fill to about 85%, stir, then top it off if you do so.
I also like the fact that it's obvious in a glance if the lid is open or not just by seeing if the handle is pointing side to side (open) or spout to grip (closed)
I open my dishwasher and place this on it and let a Berkey drop water over the counter into it. Refilling the Berkey and pouring/trashing the packets while it does this cuts down on idle time. I used to then have to move my old pitcher up to the counter to stir it as I didn't like bending my back while I had to stir. With this pitcher you just pull up and down which is easy to do so when its low on the ground so a minor annoyance actually adjusted into a small enjoyment. I have no reason to explain why it is fun to see how hard I need to push to displace water out of the top but when I need a quick stress reliever it is fun to do so, and Rubbermaid did a good job of making it difficult to splash out.
