There were very large, noticeably LARGE gaps where the netting was much more visible than I wanted. Rather than send it back, I opted to tease the heck out of it in order to camouflage the spaces. I was able to achieve my goal.
It's not a bad wig. The hair is rather easy to work with, it doesn't shed terribly bad. It does shed a little especially when I'm messing with it to get all of the gaps covered up and yet, it turned out quite convincing.
The entire wig itself fit my head pretty well. I did find that using a wig cap, helped tremendously in keeping all of my own hair tucked in without strands falling out. I don't have a very big head however, I do have quite a bit of thick, curly hair and I was able to get it all trapped under the wig.
But I must be real ... the wig was only $15 and quite frankly, EVERYONE was impressed with my costume. I have to thank my wig for contributing to my overall look. I felt spectacular!
tip -- you should always, always wear a hair cap. It kept my soft natural hair from slipping around and out underneath, and creates friction to hold the wig in place.
con -- where the black and white meet, right in the middle front of my head, the stripes of each weave are extremely obvious. (One of my stripes was even poking out, like where it wasn't sewn under the edge very well). It's not that full/ thick of hair, but it's easy to fluff.
