This was SO cute and a huge hit with family and friends. We got it for our Golden who is around 50lbs, and we purchased an XXL. Glad I read the comments before choosing his normal size. Also, the wings definitely need more support, they only have a single thin strip of elastic that connects together with velcro, so it barely stayed on his back. We had to DYI a little harness to keep it from sliding down to his belly. Other than that it was so cute we could ignore that issue 😅

The costumes are well made but they run small. I ended up using only the hoods for the bigger dogs but the costumes are adorable for smaller dogs.

Of note, this costume velcros up the back, so if you don't like that look, steer clear, or be prepared to modify. I removed the velcro and just sewed the back together to turn it into a pullover, which I like the look of better AND bought me an extra inch of girth. The hood is very cleverly designed and I love the drawstring to may it stay on where I want it (which surprised me! I didn't think I would like that feature!) If you watch my video, you can see where I stitched the back together and where the velcro used to be, and how much space it bought my chesty boy.
I would definitely buy again and I felt like I got good value for my money.
