The first thing people do when they see it is ask "whoa, does this really work.... WOW!! IT DOES WORK" it gets a lot of attention, more than my other cubes!
Review: The cube functions well. You aren't winning any competitions with it, but it will do the trick. It has the legendary color contrast of all Rubick's made cubes and is a delight to sport. It's about 1 inch cubed. I wear form fitting jeans and it fits snug in the pocket, definitlely tend to leave it hang out of the pocket when wearing jeans though. (Like a strap on a lanyard) fits nicely in a coat pocked or loose shorts etc.. Right now I have it on my key chain that has a Key (large digital key) and a few house keys and another leather strap. It is one of the bigger items one would find on a keychain, so if you prefer low profile keychain, you might want to leave it at home or hang it on a bag or your rearview mirror or something. Don't let the larger size keychain sway you from buying it. It will be the coolest cube you own hands down. Minimal pops ( I take it really slow when solving due to my large hands) The stickers have held up nicely. I assume like most puzzle cubes, they will eventually start to wear off.
Expierence: I get a lot of looks and smiles from the cube when I set my keys on my desk at work, or when friends happen to see it. Everyone immdeiatley recognizes it as a Rubick's cube, and it's just a lot of fun to have on the chain. I will make the many known cube patterns to mix it up from time to time. As of writing this, I am rocking a "Cube within a cube within a cube" patter. It looks really cool.
Cons: very few cons, but all this depends on preference. It is a stiff cube, a little annoying if you are trying to solve it to impress your friends. I find myself getting frustrated from time to time and twisting a little too hard and an edge piece pops out. Personally I was hoping the middle white sticker would resemble the modern rubicks logo, it seems to be the older gen logo ( not a deal breaker, just preference)
Finale: Go for this cube if you even own a single 3x3x3 it will be the most unique keychain you ever own, and people will love it. If you own more than one generation of rubick's cube, you have no excuse not to buy it.
And just to be clear, this is not a good cube to start with. Nor is it a cube for speed solvers, except as a keychain decoration. It is more for the people, like myself, who are decent at it (I average 2-3 minutes), and would like to keep practicing to maintain the muscle memory. I liked fiddling with it every now and then when I have some down time, instead of pretending to be busy with my phone. If you're wanting to impress non-solvers with it, put it in a checkerboard pattern and then you can solve it quickly if they notice it on your keychain.
In short, I don't regret purchasing it, but I'm not using it as much as I'd thought I would.
