This product is very easy to apply, comes out beautiful on wood. We use syringes to measure that way we aren't wasting any. Again, a little goes a long way and even though it's only 350mL, you'll be able to do a lot with it.

This monocoat finish performs as many reviews stated. It is very easy to apply or re-apply when necessary. Like most everyone else claimed, I thought the volume of the cans were insufficient for my furniture. The instructions caution that a very little goes a long way and it is true. Guesstimating the 3:1 mix is a mistake that will waste too much. Best advice is to use graduated syringes 10 ml or greater. Besides, at the cost of the product you do not want to be dumping any which has a short application time once mixed. The oil finish is spectacular and much easier than linseed oil/wax with equal results.

This wood finish gives me everything I want. Easy to apply, rub on, or squeegee. All natural ingredients so there are no crazy fumes. Comes out totally beautiful and durable with a satin finish which I prefer, AND all in just one coat. None of this layer after layer nonsense like with poly products.
Rubio costs more but it's totally worth it, and it goes a long way. I've only used 1/3 of this can and I finished a 7'x2' desk with live edge walnut top and bottom. Also a shelf for that desk 40"x14."

You have to try this stuff.

I got some of this after extensive investigation and reading a lot of reviews. Everything they said about the application and final finishing for this product is correct: one coat, hard finish in a couple of days, excellent water resistance and it even smells nice.

After final application and curing a quick polish with about 2000 grit pad gives an excellent smooth finish. I will try sanding it into the surface in my next application and expect that will give a very nice finish as it does with Osmo.

My one star reduction is that this is more yellow than I wanted and was led to believe. On dark wood it doesn't make a difference but my maple live edge table is a bit more yellow than I would have liked. Given that the alternative was to spray lacquer this is still a reasonable tradeoff.

Not enough activator.

I've seen complaints about there not being enough activator. They were right! If you mix this at a 3 to 1 ratio as suggested, you'll end up short on activator. The directions say "approximately 3 to 1 ratio". If you do the math the 275ml oil container would require roughly 91ml of activator to achieve the 3 to 1 ratio. This stuff will cure without activator but it takes a lot longer. My suggestion is to use a 4 to 1 ratio and then you'll end up with just a 5 ml left in the activaor can once the oil is used up. Many of us buy this to do small furniture projects. If you use a syringe or measuring spoons, 4 to 1 will work better. It will activate, albeit maybe a tad slower. If you use the whole thing at one time, just simply mix the contents of both together and stir.

I love the finish this leaves on walnut. It's easy to use even in a dusty shop. No worries about dust landing in the finish as it just wipes off.
