"The perfect kind of summer romance for young adult readers." -Darleen, On the Brightside
"I LOVED IT! The sweet and sassy banter between Meg and Luke kept the book's pacing at a rapid rate. I read pages and pages without even reaching over to grab my cup to sip my coffee! Enemies to lovers or a faux-romance is a story I absolutely enjoy because there is so much an author can do with it and Amity Hope rocked it!" -Victoria B., NetGalley
"This is a great fluffy summer read and would definitely recommend this to people who love contemporary books!" -Emily F., Goodreads

The book provided chapters from both Meg and Luke’s perspectives which I really liked, especially because the author constructed the story in a way that each character had an opinion about the other, which was not necessarily the truth. Which made the story quite realistic because we all develop opinions and judgements about other people that may not be entirely true. It wasn’t until the characters started getting to know each other more that they each realised that their first impressions weren’t accurate. Of course the book has a happy ending, and leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick, easy read full of cute romance.
Typical cliche teen story, with snarkiness that isn't really funny, just annoying. Overall, it felt too angsty, and I didn't really sympathize with the way either character went about resolving issues. In the end, despite each character having real problems, it just didn't feel resolved with their relationship - seemed more of a lust thing than love thing, which is annoying if you're going to claim it's love.
But as time goes by, the list of rules grows and changes. Neither Meg nor Luke is who the other thought they were, and their fake relationship is turning disturbingly real. When it’s threatened, will the rules make or break them?
