I was concerned that being a "documentary" would mean that there would be silence in between tracks and that each Jody Call would be isolated. I was happily pleased to find that the entire recording is in rhythm and the cadence does not break! No adjusting your step to re-sync with the next call. I do wish there was less repetition and longer calls- several are very similar and a lot are quite short. But that's something I can work with, because the purpose of this disc is to RUN. OO-RAH!!

I have really been enjoying this CD.

I am leaving for bootcamp in a few months, and this CD has helped me stay motivated during my runs. The sound quality, rhythm, and motivation are all top-notch.

As a few of the other reviewers have pointed out, sometimes one track to another does not keep the same footing, so you may have to do minor adjustments in your run, but I haven't found this to be annoying enough to detract from the overall value.

What probably bothers me the most about it, is the the person singing the cadence switches every 4-5 tracks. (but again, it doesn't bother me enough to subtract from the overall value)

I will still probably buy another CD of the series.

I have MC cadence vol 1 and 2 and they're just awesome for "Moto", that's marine-speak for motivation. I listen to them when I run and my husband (an actual US Marine) plays them at random times, like during breakfast, and it makes us all smile and laugh because some of the cadences are really funny, but mostly it just makes you want to get up and Gooooo.
