Scarlett has the sort of family we all secretly want. It’s easy to see why she falls for Gavin. He’s the hot guy that makes you throw caution to the wind. He’s more than just a bad boy and it’s so much fun seeing him try to find his footing in a small, Texas town. Warning: You may snort while laughing. Exercise caution while drinking so it doesn’t come out of your nose.
I’ll never think of biscuits the same way again! This is such a fun story. I could have read it all in one day if I didn’t have a family and responsibilities. When the next book in the Brides on the Run series is released, I’m running away from home so I can read, snort, and spew my drink in peace.
I was given this book as an ARC, in return for an honest review! And oh how thankful I am! Scarlett & Gavin became a part of my life. I felt loss & sadness when I finished! Even though Scarlett & Gavin exited my daily life, they'll always be in my heart!
Cover=gorgeous!! I'll buy a copy just to have the cover to look at! This is a fun, romantic comedy that anyone can relate to (or at least their alter egos can). Jami's creativity is fantastic. I laughed out loud often and was excited by the sex appeal and chemistry between Scarlett and Gavin; which was electrifying. I also love that it was set in Texas.
This book was so worth the read! This would make a fantastic Lifetime movie! I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out. I know it will be as good as Running From A Rock Star! I can't recommend this book more! Invite Scarlett & Gavin into your life, today! It's a must buy!
The story is SO well written. The sexual tension at the beginning, awesome. Their flaws and issues done exactly right. It is the perfect romance with all the elements in balance. I totally LOVED their vows. And the make out scene on the porch - you HAVE to read it.
If you love hot rock star book boyfriends, scrappy, sassy heroines, and a HEA that makes you sigh, then you will definitely love this book. And you should get it. Like, right now.
She thought it would be easy to end the marriage. Then a few things came up and They both needed to stay married to each other. Falling in love along the way is only natural right?
Gavin was nothing Scarlett expected from a rock star. Sure he had his moments but he actually seemed more like a normal person. Scarlett was nothing like he remembered her to be from vegas. She seemed almost too perfect here in her home town. Where was his wild girl?
Scarlett's family and friends were wonderful. Her BFF and Gavin's lawyer are so snippy with each other. It was cute to read.
This was an easy to read book and it flowed along nicely.
I love stories that start off as one thing and completely surprise. This story had way more depth and emotion than I anticipated. You feel everything these two have been through in their past and you feel how they connect on so many levels. You can almost pinpoint when they start to fall in love with each other.
"She owned him, body and soul. She freed the brokenness in him. Baptized and resurrected him with her sweetness, and made him a new man."
I also loved the side characters. You know the writing is amazing when you become emotionally connected to characters that aren't the main H and h.
And can I just say how much fun it would be to get Jack and Louann's story! That will be explosive!
