I have never owned or even used an immersion blender, but I’ve recently taken up baking and thought this may be more convenient to mix liquid ingredients instead of lugging out my KitchenAid mixer. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and weight of it; very easy to use and felt built with quality.I used it to “mash” 4 bananas and within 10 seconds of pulsing, they were smooth. I like that the button to activate isn’t a switch on/off, but I can control it which allows me to blend as long or as short as I need to. I wouldn’t use this to blend a large amount of flour into liquid ingredients, however it would be perfect to blend eggs, syrups, sauces, etc. It was perfect for mashing bananas and I can see it would be a great smoothie blender as well.It is extremely easy to clean by rinsing if you do it right after use. It also comes with a nice measured cup for blending. I’m really happy with this purchase and am excited to see what else I can blend with this tool.
