Quirky, Fun, and thoughtful journey of transition and hard work!

This book has such a unique style. In fact, the style is what pulled me in immediately. It has journal entries chronicling memories throughout a woman from Russia's transition as she, her spouse, and child navigate the woes of daily life and preparation to live in different countries. Although there is much humor shared from the eyes of Mikey(her hilariously sweet son), it motivated me in so many different ways. Reading about someone putting so much on the line to make their dreams come true was truly inspirational. I also learned quite a bit from a cultural stance as well. I can't wait to read the next installment of this journey!
