OK, addendum, here - now I see there is another can that looks similar that is ANTIQUE bronze that has the same set of reviews, but the cap color looks more brown. (Zoom the label on the can in the picture to verify before you order; I got the oil rubbed bronze & it is the one that is almost black). I just ordered the antique bronze & will post an addendum when that arrives to see if it's a closer match to venetian bronze fixtures I have.
Update: "Aged Bronze" is more like venetian color. Just used oil rubbed bronze to update old white metal patio furniture. Looks really nice outside - dark brown. Difference (duh) seems to be bright light; in darker room "oil rubbed" looks almost black. Both are nice colors with lot of sheen.
-Great coverage, I used two thick coats and got 4-5 fixtures per can.
-NO RUNS OR SAGS. The paint goes on smoothly and dries quickly. I have admittedly done a lot of painting, but this stuff goes on perfectly.
-Metallic components give it a very nice look. Doesn't look like shiny regular paint. It has a nice satin finish and a rubbed look.
-I used the clear finish in the same product line to give it two clear topcoats for durability. There was no wrinkling or cracking.
At 70 degrees, I put on a coat every 5 minutes. No problem. I let it dry about 2 hours and then put the fixtures under a heat lamp to bake the finish on and harden it. I baked them for two hours and they came out hard and dry.
This paint simply went on great, looks great, and feels like it will wear as good as the original finish. I wouldn't hesitate to paint any lamp with this. I rarely give praise like this to spray paint.
Try it, you will approve.

painted brass door hinges rather than buy new ones, cheaper, and no worries about the fit since is was a heavy front twin door. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Bill
Kind of sticky, super long drying time compared to similar products.Published 6 months ago by Kindle Customer
The color wasn't bad, it covered well... but probably should have sanded the towel bar I was painting. Doesn't adhere to it too well.Published 6 months ago by Linda
I'm sure this is a good product, and I would be happy to purchase it however the price is ridiculously too high. The manufacture says its too high also.Published 7 months ago by David L. Cook
