Chart for specific nutrients+ Deficiency Symptoms = food sources, etc... several ways to cross reference health and nutritional needs... you can also look up specific foods and learn about many of their specific medicinal properties.
Facts on the many different names of MSG and why you don't want this in your body (this is helpful info if you sincerely want to avoid MSG and need to know how to read it in food labels).
Another wonderful bonus I found is the detailed information on several different kinds of grains to eat. This information over the years helped me find alternative grains for my families diet and gave me clues how to use them as I studied other food science sources... Like for those of you that have wheat allergies, picking other choices. Grains for breads or cooking understanding gluten facts (gluten and protein content help in bread, cookies.. rising). I created some tasteful recipes with this as my spring board. My point being is understanding basic foundational information helps you with the other layers learned too.

I find personally the explanations and info easy to read, so you don't need to be a science major or nutritionist expert to follow what she is sharing. Simple easy formats and charts, and so forth. Whether you use all her info. or part of it it is helpful.Read more ›
