You will find this is a heartwarming story about an 11 year old boy named Ryan who turned into a lion. The story shows how Ryan and his parents dealt with the changes taking place in Ryan's life. Ryan is just trying to live a normal life by participating in activities that any 11 year old boy would.
I attempted to write a story as lighthearted as possible that dealt with a child who had an unforgiving illness.
And I wrote this story in memory of my friends son as he passed away from cancer. His name was Ryan.
Some of the proceeds are going towards Children's Hospitals.

William B Simons grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pa. He currently lives in Delaware County with his wife and two daughters. His son is married with two children. William went to Vo-Tech for Graphic Art Design in high school and then went onto graduate at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. Worked as a Page Layout Artist at Verizon Yellow Pages for 11 years. He then discovered a passion of combining drawing and storytelling by making a few unpublished comic books and a children's book named 'Ryan The Lion'. His children's book was inspired by the passing of a friend's child that was taken too soon by cancer. He is also going to donate some of the proceeds to CHOP.
