About the authors

Originally a Londoner, Thomas A. (Tom) Ryerson now calls Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, home, and has been actively writing since 2005.
Tom has yet to settle on one particular genre. Castle Lake is a ghost story, Travelogue is a family drama, Fun City is science-fiction fantasy, April's Call is a psychological thriller, and Return to Castle Lake is an adventure story. Those Three Words is the spiritual life story of his cousin, Karen Litwin with whom he helped co-write. Carnal Wreckage is a collection of Tom's poetry and lyrics. The Last Girl on Earth is a dystopian adventure set in Florida and Ohio, while The Anatomy of a Mermaid is an alternative history Shakespearean styled tragedy set in Hawaii. A Bigger World is the semi-fictional life story of Tom's great-grandfather Edwy, a Titanic survivor.
Castle Lake Grave Reckoning, the third book in that series, returns the reader to the scares found in the first classic novel. Survival Instincts was co-written with his aunt in 2016. In 2017 Tom unleashed his 'Thunderbird Recording' series of books, of which the first is available here.
Tom's writing influences include Robin Cook, Ian Fleming, Thomas Tryon, E.L. Doctorow, Harold Robbins, Albert Goldman, O.T. Nelson, John Jakes, and Judy Blume. Tom's early writing was initially influenced by film and TV, with shows in the horror and science fiction genre. TV shows such as Kolchak: The Night Stalker, Space: 1999, and Circle of Fear, and films such as Star Wars, Alien, Black Christmas, and Carrie. At the age of 15, he began to develop ideas of his own, and thought he'd like to make films for a living. Beginning in 1980, he attempted to write synopsis's for his original stories; 'The Sand Burners,' 'Cop,' 'Knossos: The Last Years,' and 'Fun City.'
His current fictional project is called 'Ruby Diamond - A Life In The Rough.'

The mirror tells me I'm a grandmother.....but the real me drives a hot little red sports car! I've been fascinated with family history for over 50 years.....have written magazine articles, stories for historical journals, 20 or more family genealogies.......and when I discovered that 3 'cousins' in my husbands family were lost on 3 famous ship tragedies (Titanic-Lusitania-Ercolano), I knew I had to record those stories in book form. At last....all three are now available on amazon.com. It was important that these stories be told.
I think I'm done writing family history books.....but who knows what incredible stories there are yet to be discovered!
