Blog postAlrighty, folks. I don't know about you, but I've had a busy October! First and foremost, my debut novel, Something Special, released to the world! In case you missed it (I hope you didn't miss it), it's a contemporary romance novel about a broken girl trying to glue herself back together. After some reviewing and consulting, I've added a trigger warning on its page. The book does deal with some dark stuff in a few chapters, and I didn't want to hurt anyone who might have gone through something4 years ago Read more

Blog postI grew up in a nice house, in a nice neighborhood, with nice people surrounding me. I didn't have to worry about the people walking up and down the street or whether or not I had to lock the windows on the first floor of my house. Blog post2018 has been a year of self discovery. That is to say: I think I know where I want my life to go, finally. And also: I have been exploring my past under the scope of mental health. So let's talk about my (past) mental health. Why not, right?Earlier this year, I had a conversation with someone about anxiety. It was a person who I wouldn't have imagined having anxiety, since they were so strong. While they were describing it, I realized: wow, that sounds kind of similar. I see it everywhere now.4 years ago Read more

Blog postI started writing Something Special in October 2017. It seemed miraculous when I hit 5,000 words, and even more so when I reached 20,000 words. Eight and a half months later, I had achieved something I had been attempting to do for years: I finished a book.My passion for writing started when I was young. I have rough memories--you know, the kind that are hazy around the edges--of scribbling loops in a journal, filling every line. “Writing stories,” I probably told my parents. Blog postSo, it's been a hot minute since I've posted. Sorry about that, readers. I'm thinking that I need to change this around a bit, and maybe go in a new direction. I don't seem to be doing well just blogging about my life. Unfortunately, I don't think my life is that interesting. There are some new things happening: finishing my book (and editing it), traveling, and applying to masters programs are the top 3. Blog postNo one really teaches you how to make your friends feel good. At least--no one taught me. No one said, some of your friends will need words of encouragement. Some of your friends need physical time spent with them to affirm your friendship. Some just want you to ask about their day, or check in on them, or buy them a birthday present. And so, we lose the friends that we don't take care of, and we lose friends who don't take care of us. I was used to the heart-stabbing pain of heartache. Of feeling like my lungs were gone. Loss in extreme. In stark juxtaposition, I wasn’t at all familiar with this understated melancholy. Blog postOne of my favorite cringe-inducing characters is Asa from Too Late, by Colleen Hoover. Blog postHere's the thing. I am terrible with sequels, and even worse with trilogies. I don't have solid data on this, but there's probably a 95% chance that I won't read the last book in a trilogy or series. Maybe it was because the Twilight Saga and the Hunger Games trilogy ruined me. Seriously, Mockingjay???I openly acknowledge this. She loved me. I hate her.
As a kid, she crushed my dreams to dust.
She tore both of our families apart with one confession, ending any chance of happiness for either of us and setting off a ripple effect of chaos.
Now she’s back as the new girl in school, and she doesn’t suspect the war that’s coming. She doesn’t realize the anger I’ve been harboring.
I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to ruin her life, and it’s finally here.
Because even traitors sleep—and I’m going to make sure she only dreams of me.
Then I’m going to destroy her.
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you're looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.
Sterling Falls is a dark, gothic reverse harem romance series with enemies to lovers, romantic suspense, and new adult themes. Rebel is book 3 in the series and a continuation of the first two - it is not a standalone.
Warning: the blurb contains spoilers for the previous books in the series.

War has come to Sterling Falls.
The guys and I are scattered. Finding them is the first step.
Freeing them of their chains is the next.
Labeled a fugitive, I’m hunted for a rebellion I haven’t even begun to lead.
But I will lead it. I fell in love with this city–I won’t let it fall into chaos so easily.
A calm facade blankets the city.
Underneath it, the gangs are at each others’ throats.
Not everyone is glad I’m back in Sterling Falls…
And some would kill to keep me out.
He wasn’t the one I was supposed to marry.
He’s cold.
Brutal.
Calculating.
To his family, I’m a strategic move in their war.
To mine, an alliance offers protection against our enemies.
Still, there’s something about him that calls to me.
A dark edge threatens to revive me. His gaze steals my breath.
Even if my heart thinks this could work, my brain knows better.
We say “I do” with his brother’s blood on our clothes,
and the bars of my gilded cage slam closed.
Our wedding vows are forever – ’til death do us part.
But with enemies closing in from all sides, death might be closer than we think.
Please note: this book contains dark content that some readers may find distressing.
I loved him. He betrayed me.
He tried to ruin my chance of happiness, but I’m not going down so easily.
There are questions I need answered. Secrets that need to be brought into the light. And a king who needs to be taken off his throne.
I’m still the object of his obsession, but I can work around that.
They say all’s fair in love and war. But if Caleb Asher taught me anything, it’s that this is definitely not love.
What do you think, Caleb? Are you ready for one last game?
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you're looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.
Wicked Games is book two of the Fallen Royals Series. It is part of a trilogy and NOT a standalone.
Warning: the blurb contains spoilers for the first book in the series.

What doesn’t kill me…
Waking up in the hospital after the fire is a relief that's swiftly followed by horror. Cerberus James, the leader of the Hell Hounds and auction winner, has come to claim me.
He wants the guys back under his control, and I’m the leverage.
He’s got plans for us.
But Cerberus should know that Jace, Wolfe, and Apollo won’t go down easy–and neither will I.
I’ve got more fight in me than any of them know.
And he’s going to learn that the hard way.
I wasn’t supposed to be at Olympus that night.
And I definitely wasn’t supposed to witness a murder – or be caught by the killers.
Hades, Apollo, and Ares run the mysterious, masked fight club, and they wield more power in this town than I could dream of holding. They destroy my life with one decree: Kora Sinclair doesn’t exist.
Sterling Falls was my chance to start over, but one night derails everything.
My scholarship, my job – gone.
I could run home, but giving up my dreams isn’t an option.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
When I can’t repay my debt to an unforgiving man, he gives me a choice. I can steal Hades’ mask, or he can take what I owe from my flesh.
But if I do this, there’s no turning back. More than the fear of his threats, revenge drives my decision. I need to steal the mask.
After all, who better to become a thief than the girl they tried to erase?
THIEF is a full-length, mature college/new adult romance with dark themes. This is a reverse harem, #whychoose novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book one of four in the series.
Aiden DeSantis is savage, cruel, and wild. The untamed new heir of the DeSantis Mafia.
He hunts my father and brother, but he finds me instead.
The girl he fixated on for years.
The one person he could never have.
And now that he’s captured me, he wants to keep me.
He might be savage, but I’m reckless.
And in a battle of hearts and sacrifices, only one of us can win.
Savage Prince is book one of a duet. It is NOT a standalone – Aiden and Gemma's story continues in Stolen Crown. This duet is a dark romance with themes that are suited for 18+. Reader discretion is advised.
Stolen Crown is book TWO of Aiden and Gemma's duet. The blurb contains spoilers for the previous book, and I urge you not to read further until after you've finished Savage Prince.
Reader discretion is advised.
––––
My father made a deal with the devil, and it backfired on both of us.
Now he’s gone, and my family’s future is in my traitorous hands.
I almost married Aiden DeSantis, even knowing the truth.
Even hoping I was wrong.
I have to end a war.
Save my family.
And uncover a conspiracy.
There’s just one giant problem:
Aiden and I are on opposing sides, and he’ll do anything to reclaim me.
The hate between our families runs deep.
The clock is counting down before Aiden’s patience snaps.
Now, if only I could figure out if he wants me, or to use me...
He can try to steal my crown, but he’ll never win my heart.
I'll show them no mercy.
I made a promise to Caleb, and I intended to keep it.
I just didn’t anticipate the aftermath.
One betrayal.
One lie.
One devastating cover up.
It’s all out in the open now, and this time, I’m not running away.
The secrets I hold are enough to destroy us.
The truth is supposed to set us free—but we aren’t destined for freedom.
This is a dark high school bully romance with mature content and themes. It contains dubious situations that some readers may find offensive. If you're looking for a white knight hero, this book is not for you.
Wicked Promises is book three of the Fallen Royals Series. It is the conclusion of a trilogy and NOT a standalone.
It’s my fault the hate is there in the first place. She needed somewhere to direct her anger, and I volunteered to be the target.
Being adored is boring.
I wanted something different.
Each jab that falls from her pretty mouth is a challenge, and the more we fight, the hotter we burn.
But soon, this game of ours goes too far. She needs to be reminded who really rules this relationship.
Our feud is a joke—but in the end, I’ll be the only one laughing.
This is a standalone in the Fallen Royals series. It is recommended to read the Wicked trilogy prior, but not neccesary.
We're all hiding something.
I have a confession: I’m a big, fat liar.
My family thinks I’m in college on a scholarship.
They assume I worked hard enough to get a full ride.
The truth is much worse, but I wasn’t worried.
My secret was safe.
Wrong.
It only takes one girl to disrupt my plans.
To disintegrate the facade I’ve been building.
To ruin everything.
Turns out, she’s been building her own fragile house of cards.
And she’s about to meet the wrecking ball of her own creation.
This is a dark bully romance. Reader discretion is advised. If you're looking for a white knight hero, Liam isn't it. Cruel Abandon is a standalone in the Fallen Royals series, but best enjoyed after books 1-4.
