Sharon Hughson regrets not having been born in Narnia (but she wasn't really in charge of that, was she?). Sadly, though, she doesn't get to visit the magical realm as often as she'd like. Instead, she endures months of Pacific Northwest rain and travels to mystical realms through reading, and writing women's fiction and young adult fantasy.
Before becoming a professional writer, Sharon worked in real estate and education (sometimes still darkening the doors as a substitute teacher - sad when teacher pay beats writer pay). She possesses a BA in English Language and Literature and considers herself a "life long learner."
Three cats allow Sharon and her husband to reside with them near the Columbia River in Oregon. Her two adult sons claim not to live there - but want a room available. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, hiking, playing the piano, traveling with her husband and friends and coming home to scrapbook those family memories.
