I bought three of these this past March (2018), and gave one to my wife and the two others to female friends. My wife brings it in the mornings when she walks our dog, mainly as a defense against coyotes (we live near a desert preserve) or unfriendly dogs.
The other day she encountered 3 loose dogs in the neighborhood that started getting aggressive toward our dog. When they approached, she sprayed them square in the eyes and snout multiple times and it did NOT stop them. It may have slowed them down a little, but they ended up chasing our dog up the block until he outran them. My wife fell and injured her knee.
If this "Advanced Police Strength" pepper spray couldn't stop a dog, it's unlikely to protect anyone from a human attacker.
My wife did say the practice canister was helpful. But do your homework. Look for reviews where people actually used the product for real. Peace of mind is good, but a false sense of security isn't.

recieved the Sabre 3-in-1 spray fast with Amazon prime. As soon as it got here I took the little lady outside and had her test it. It shot far, at least 10 feet, and the slight wind didn't seem to affect it that much. As far as effectiveness?? After she sprayed it I walked through the lingering cloud. You know, just to test it with my dumb boyfriend brain. DO NOT DO THIS. Trust me, it works, you don't need to make sure. I swear to god one of my eyes almost melted out. A direct spray to the face would have turned me into a crying little beeotch.
