Great monitor after some maintenance

First things first, this is a 32;9 ultrawide monitor, so it's HUGE. Make sure you know what you're getting into before you buy. Its size made things a little more difficult to attach to its desk stand than your regular-sized monitor, and also a bit more challenging to plug in new cables after the fact.The monitor supports HDR, a refresh rate of 240h, and a 5120x1440p resolution. The amount of pixels on the screen makes for quite a pleasurable viewing experience while gaming. I personally play Red Dead Redemption 2, and I don't think I can ever go back after playing it on ultrawide.The reason I'm rating this a 4 rather than a 5 is that you need to change quite a few settings and download a third-party program or two to make the monitor easier to use. I would personally recommend a program called DisplayFusion to make keeping two windows open beside each other easier. Increase the size of the mouse as well so it's easier to see and harder to lose track of. Another issue is that a lot of games don't support this monitor's aspect ratio natively, so you'll have to download another program called Flawless Widescreen and check if your game is supported. For games such as Mass Effect and GTA V, that program is a must.One final point of contention for me is the price. $1600 is quite overpriced for what you're buying. A better price would be between 900 and 1200. Regardless, it's still a great monitor whose quality speaks for itself.

I’ve always wanted an OLED gaming monitor and I pulled the trigger during prime day. The colors and picture are incredible. Well built. Sturdy. Easy to put together. My only complaint is that sometimes my PC doesn’t recognize it and I have to unplug it or turn it off and back on. Overall great product. Not sure if it’s worth more than $600 compared to other amazing monitors you can get for way less. But if you want OLED and this goes on sale, you’ll be happy

First things first, no buyers remorse whatsoever. Pictures don’t do this monitor justice.
I have had too many monitors over the years and have never had one this good. I’m a gamer and work in cybersecurity so my monitors get a lot of use.
Disclaimer; I bought this on the Prime Day deal which is the best price I’ve ever seen on this monitor.

It has the most vibrant and clear colors I’ve ever seen in a monitor. The refresh rate is amazing and it is very adjustable with its default stand. It’s very easy to setup and looks pretty freaking cool.
I personally moved mine to a dual monitor stand after a few days because of personal preference. It is a lean, mean, gaming/working machine.

You won’t regret set this purchase.

First off, this monitor is heavy. The stand which comes with it is very substantial and will support the monitor well. If, like me, you use an arm swivel to hold your monitor so it can be moved around, you will need a heavy-duty arm and mount. Fortunately, mine could handle the weight.

Secondly, the picture is impressive. Just hooking it to my PC and turning it on made it obvious that the OLED is 100% better than my older monitors. I used a three-monitor set before and the panoramic view of this 49" monster made them instantly obsolete. I can do the same work in multiple windows with only one monitor.

It does take some getting used to but the overall picture quality and 240hz refresh rate means a seamless work surface and an unbeatable gaming workhorse.

So my pros:

It was easily set up and provides a great visual experience.
Working in multiple windows and programs functions well and the seamless movement between them is a great asset.
Gaming is awesome on this monitor with no rips or lags in any of the games I put it through. (BG3, various flight sims, Cyberpunk, Skyrim, et. al.

My cons:
Updates are not intuitive. There is a bit of work involved in getting the hardware updated. I had to download to a thumb drive and the find the specific port to plug into.
The LED lighting on the back is meh. A series in a strip around the monitor would be more eye-catching.

All this being said, I find myself really enjoying this monitor. It is beautiful in the picture and quality, seems robustly well built and allows for easy multitasking through putting up to six windows across the face.

I have not tried the additional device option (splitting the screen in two) or used the built in sound as I have better base sound on the PC itself.

Overall, I would recommend this monitor for anyone who needs a wide screen for multitasking or gaming purposes. It also provides an excellent streaming picture for movies/television. It is a higher price point, but is well worth the price in my opinion.

My previous monitor was a 3k asus mini-led gaming monitor. Which was great and served me well. However after a few years of hardcore use it was starting to have some pixel degradation. So I opted to go for an OLED option. An samsung QD-OLED no less which is supposed to be the begin all end all. Needless to say its an absolute disaster. Let me start with some pros/cons

Pros:
-Great picture quality (when it works)
-Crazy fast refresh rate (when you can get it to work past 60hz)
-Nice finish and look

Cons:
-Constant disconnects on displayport
-HDMI 2.1 is awful on my 4090, pictures are muted and I cannot get brightness up for some reason
-Constant disconnects on HDMI
-Ridiculously terrible annoying samsung OS
-Cant disable samsung smart stuff
-When asleep and waking wont go direct to desktop, have to use remote to get to desktop

So Im am what I would consider a power user. I have a 7970x threadripper, 128gb ddr5 RDram, 4090 and 3 monitors in total. This in the middle flanked by two 27" monitors. Even my more budget 27" monitors put this thing to shame. The color, brightness, tone and RGB is just awful. Ive have tried everything to get it to work, high end overpriced DP cables (tried 8 of them, over 200 bucks worth) many HDMI cables (6 in total). Tried different ports on the 4090, changed settings in nvidia software, literally everything. It just simply is awful. It will always black out at some point for 10-30 seconds than magically reappear. Nothing I can do will solve this. The only solution I can find that solves the muted colors, disconnect, poor color and what not is lowering the refresh rate to 60hz. I paid a lot of money for something that has a 240hz refresh rate. My previous asus was at 144hz. This is a huge step down. Ive not purchased another asus 32" mini-led and just said goodbye to my expensive monitor paper weight. I cant say Ive been this disappointed in a purchase in as far back as I can remember. I would avoid this thing like the plague, its truly a terrible version of the QD-OLED that are supposed to be the best

The fact that it is an OLED is a double-edged sword. First of all, OLEDs are known to have shorter lifespan than LCDs and all the other alternatives. This monitor is pretty much like all other OLEDs in a sense that TRUE BLACK will essentially be the main feature. The white light is significantly dimmer than my LCD monitors, even my LCD tablets shine brighter.

This monitor does an amazing job rendering 360 hz refresh rate as an OLED at 1440p. Everything is nice and clear, it performs as they advertised. But the coil of the monitor can sometimes be tediously annoying when the room/place is very quiet. I would recommend that you turn on a fan, aircon, run a speaker or wear a noise-cancelling headphones to keep the coil sound from irritating you literally until you turn off the monitor itself.

Do I like it, yes and no. But I would rather keep it than return it. Why? Because it is significantly better than my old BenQ 240 hz 1080p gaming monitor. I seriously cannot go back to that res and overall specs. This 360 hz 1440p OLED has been an amazing gaming monitor that I can confidently rely on for the next maybe 3-5 years, hopefully maybe longer.

Btw, the monitor will be a good buddy with display ports but for some reason it hates HDMI. I got a Steam Deck and I used the Display port with my Steam Deck Dock and it works just fine but only at 120 hz max. While with my BenQ 240 hz 1080p, it can run up to the full 240 hz. So yeah kinda weird that my 1080p monitor can utilize its full capability with the Steam Deck while this supposedly superior tech released in 2024 cannot run Steam Deck at full 360 hz capability (limited to max of 120 hz only). So if you have a Steam Deck and you intend to use the Steam Dock, you might wanna explore better other options. Back to the HDMI issue, when I used the HDMI, IT DOES NOT WORK for the Steam Deck. (HDMI cable is perfectly normal/active because I used it to the BenQ monitor and it does work.

TLDR; This monitor does as advertised/as described as a gaming OLED monitor. As an OLED monitor, the brightness will be terrible like all other OLED monitors, but you get a true black. The coil sound/noise within the monitor can be a pain in the ass sometimes when the room/place is very quiet. Basically, for this monitor, the display port will work perfectly just fine; however, with the HDMI cable, you may run into some issues.

Superb quality, punchy colors and rich blacks from this OLED monitor and very low response time and high refresh rate making it suitable for gaming and watching movies as well. I use it 80% for work and 20% for gaming/movies, I don't experience the text fringing that many reviewers out there complain about because I don't stick my face in the screen trying to look for it, people over exaggerate things really. The speakers are also pretty decent which is a plus as I never had a monitor before that has built in speakers. I mainly bought it as an external monitor to connect my laptop to but having the Smart TV functions in it is an added bonus to watch YouTube, Shahid, Netflix, etc and the remote control makes it a joy to control vs other monitors where you have to fiddle around with some awkwardly positioned joystick under the monitor.

The monitor came with very well protected packaging and had 0 dead pixels and no backlight bleeding (offcourse since it's an OLED).

One minor complaint is that only it came with a Mini Display Port to Display port cable but my laptop also has a mini display port cable so the provided cable wouldn't fit since the monitor itself only has a mini display port so I am left with the Display port side of the cable so I ended up buying a UGREEN 8K Micro HDMI to HDMI 2.1 Cable to connect it to my laptop and got the full refresh rate of 175HZ at 3440x1440 resolution.

If you're switching to this monitor from a TN or IPS Panel, you will be in heaven. The blacks on your screen are truly black and the colors are absolutely incomparable to other paneled monitors. Got this monitor during an insane deal (39% off) and is easily one of my best purchases. Works well for gaming, editing, coding and movie watching and I'm sure would just as amazing for anything outside of those. Bonus but not necessary is the look of this monitor. It fits very well into a minimalistic setup even with the stand, a monitor mount would just be a bonus. Lovely product and will update in the future if any issues arise.

Si buscas un monitor que alcance un color negro real, esta es la opción. Inicialmente habia adquirido una pantalla curva de otra marca (G....)., pero tenia muchisimo cloudy y decidi devolverla, hasta el momento no me arrepiento de esa decisión, fue un gran cambio. La pantalla Samsung no es perfecta pero tiene lo necesario para trabajos de oficina, si, ya que puedes trabajar con 3 documentos al mismo tiempo y se ven bien, con 2 documentos esta perfecta, algo que no pasa con mi monitor 16:9 de 27". Para entretenimiento esta perfecta, sobre todo en juegos de carreras de mundo abierto, en especial le hace mucha justicia a los juegos que requieren un movimiento rapido de FPS esta increible.
Algunas caracteristicas destacables:

Tiempo de respuesta, escenas realmente oscuras, el tamaño es genial para trabajar, es curva y aun asi tiene un angulo de visión perfecto, cero cloudy (manchas blancas en escenas oscuras), sin fugas de luz, comandos de voz, funciona como TV, perfecta para juegos por su rapidez de respuesta en ms y hz.

Marco algo grueso (aprox 1 cm), precio, no tiene tanto brillo como una VA o IPS, reflejos (muy poco, no son molestos pero existen), interfaz (no es la mas rapida), entradas mini (ya no podré usar mi viejo cable HDMI 😔).

En resumen, vale mucho la pena; y si eres exigente con las escenas oscuras, este es tu monitor. La parte trasera hace ver a este monitor único. Para trabajos y tareas es perfecto por el tamaño. Para juegos es de lo mejor que hay. LLevo un poco mas de un mes con el monitor y no me arrepiento.
PD si tienes una TV samsung esta funcionará con el mismo control del monitor, en mi caso como los tengo juntos se encienden al mismo tiempo y eso es un poco molesto.

Si buscas un monitor que alcance un color negro real, esta es la opción. Inicialmente habia adquirido una pantalla curva de otra marca (G....)., pero tenia muchisimo cloudy y decidi devolverla, hasta el momento no me arrepiento de esa decisión, fue un gran cambio. La pantalla Samsung no es perfecta pero tiene lo necesario para trabajos de oficina, si, ya que puedes trabajar con 3 documentos al mismo tiempo y se ven bien, con 2 documentos esta perfecta, algo que no pasa con mi monitor 16:9 de 27". Para entretenimiento esta perfecta, sobre todo en juegos de carreras de mundo abierto, en especial le hace mucha justicia a los juegos que requieren un movimiento rapido de FPS esta increible.
Algunas caracteristicas destacables:

PROS
Tiempo de respuesta, escenas realmente oscuras, el tamaño es genial para trabajar, es curva y aun asi tiene un angulo de visión perfecto, cero cloudy (manchas blancas en escenas oscuras), sin fugas de luz, comandos de voz, funciona como TV, perfecta para juegos por su rapidez de respuesta en ms y hz.

CONS
