I'm happy with my purchase of the T650. The center channel is a real winner and speech is crystal clear, which in my opinion makes this the clear choice over the T550 and T450. The only issue I have with the sound is that the low bass could be a little punchier - with the woofer turned up to maximum it's merely adequate. This is offset a bit by the fact that the woofer is wireless and you can move it around anywhere you'd like in the room; placing it next to you allows for more immersion. Note that the bass is not turned all the way up out of the box (I believe the default is 4, and the max is 6) and can only be changed with the included remote.
I was not pleased with the simulated surround sound as it made the audio sound tinny. I would stick with either the default audio profile or the 'SMART' audio profile which is also very good and in my opinion makes everything sound a bit crisper. That's what I'm currently using now.
The main reason I knocked off a star is the SPDIF/TOSLINK functionality. I have the Samsung UN65TU7000 TV which only comes with two HDMI ports, and was hoping to use the TOSLINK cable for the audio as HDMI Arc would take up one of my only two slots. Unfortunately when I tried this, my TV remote would not work with the volume controls, and I had to use the controller that came with the sound bar to control the volume. Additionally the sound still comes through the speakers as well (unless you change the settings, which are not very user friendly) which led to dual overlapping audio streams. This was fixed with HDMI Arc, which allowed me to control the volume with my TV remote and removed the 'dual stream' issue - I just wish this could have been done with the SPDIF as well, which was a much worse experience than I was expecting.
The Bluetooth functionality is...fine. This model (and the T550 and T450) does not work with SmartThings so there is no way to control the sound bar via Bluetooth from your phone; this functionality is reserved for Samsung's higher end soundbar models. This was another small disappointment for me, as, again, I was expecting more integration with the TV, which does support Bluetooth connectivity via SmartThings.
There is going to be a delay between the audio and video streams if you're using Bluetooth. I would recommend it for music only; you would not want to watch any video with the Bluetooth connection.
One more minor quibble - the information screen is located on the 'top' of the sound bar rather than the 'front' - you are not able to see any info unless you're standing directly over the bar. This may be common for sound bars - not sure - but I would have preferred to have the display screen on the front of the device, so that I don't have to walk over to it every time I'm changing the settings.
Overall this is probably one of the best sound bars you can get for the price. If you have no issues with using HDMI ARC (which I STRONGLY recommend, if your TV supports it) and are OK with low bass that's merely 'adequate' (but still pretty good), and barebones Bluetooth functionality, this is the sound bar for you.
