Decent set but not for the price.. I paid around 1500 for this last year and was disappointed at the value for the kind of money.
The good: picture clarity is pretty great ONLY AFTER you've either wrestled with the settings for hours or had it professionally calibrated. Sound is decent for a flat screen. Blacks are close to true black, does well for a led.
The bad: this set gets HOT! Puts off a lot of heat, make sure you have superior cooling options where you put this. Like others report, there's a bit of a burning smell too, mine went away within a week.. DSE is apparent, mine was just a small mark that I can live with but still.. for this kind of money we deserve a completely clear screen! UI is atrocious.. you'll get regular ads showing up in the home screen when switching between apps or inputs. No quick input change button which is pretty annoying too. Also no way to change or delete apps that I know of.
Conclusion: decent set if you can get it at least half off.. otherwise your money is better spent elsewhere. Pretty disappointed in Samsung on this one!
