I've done some write benchmarks on the 16GB version of this card and others with my Canon 40D. Here are the results:

SanDisk Extreme 60 MB/s 16GB (400X)
17 RAW, 17 seconds to clear

SanDisk Extreme III 30 MB/s 8GB (200X)
18 RAW, 17 seconds to clear

Lexar Pro 1GB 133X
20 RAW, 16 seconds to clear

Kingston Ultimate 4 GB 133X
19 RAW, 21 seconds to clear

Kingston High Speed 1024 MB 80X
18 RAW, 37 seconds to clear

For this circa-2007 DSLR, no card over 133X improves write speeds. No benefit was expected; cameras of this vintage max out at about 12 MB/s.

For more recent bodies up until about 2012, head directly to Rob Galbraith's CF/SD/XQD database. He's tested most of them.

* A few general notes:

There are speed variances even among cards of equal rating. Brand matters. Cameras from Canon, Nikon, and Sony perform best with cards from SanDisk and Lexar. Other brands, even if capable of rated speed in a card reader, tend not to rival those two in-camera.

Card-to-computer transfer rates will be limited by the card reader interface or the camera. Most cameras directly connected to a computer send data at 10-15 MB/s. With card readers, USB 2.0, the most common interface, caps out at about 30 MB/s. Firewire 800 is about three times as fast and will max out this card, as will USB 3.0 and IDE/SATA converters. As well, all CF cards rated for 30 MB/s or more support UDMA.

* Are higher-rated cards faster?

Autofocus, turn-on speed, JPEG writes, movie recording, image review, maximum framerate, and so on are almost completely unaffected by faster cards. Movie recording at 1080p/30 takes just 5-10 MB/s.

I use this in my Mark ii and its awesome. Great price and product. It writes very fast with my camera even while shooting RAW and JPEG at the same time.

I am pleased with this 64Gb Sandisk CF card. I shoot HD video with my DSLR as an Indie Filmmaker. My time is precious so I opted to go with a reputable name & brand. This CF card allows double footage of 1080p over my 32Gb non Sandisk card. Needless to say that the price is good and the transfer speed is great.

Do not risk getting imitations from other sites; just not worth it. I am very pleased with this card and the authenticity that backs it.

SanDisk has always proven to be the leader in the industry when it comes to memory sticks, flash, and even USB drives. Can't express enough how happy I was to see a 64GB version of the Compact Flash card. For those who might be wondering, that chimes out to about 4hr, 50 minutes of true AVCHD video. Running a professional video business, I often find myself in recording gigs that run relentlessly long sometimes, and I really don't have the time to change out those 60 minute tapes that run in my Sony Camcorders. The 32GB Flash cards are nice too (about 2Hrs+), and either way, you can't go wrong. Besides that, the cards fit nicely into my main computer's card reader in the studio, and transferring files to the hard drive is a sinch. Now I never have to worry about how long a program is running, or is it time to change out a memory card. SanDisk is very reliable, and will last an eternity (I also have about a dozen of their SD cards that are still ticking after months of abuse). Over all, I can not say enough about the reliability, sturdiness, and convenience of having this larger memory card.

I purchased this card to use in my D800, my previous 16MB cards just weren't cutting it anymore as they filled up way too fast. Card worked perfectly, lots of capacity and good speeds transferring the pictures off of the card. No compatibility problems and card has been working flawlessly since purchasing it over 6 months ago.

I have yet filled this thing up. My 5d mark iii takes up tons of space. I never ever worry about running out of space. I also have the sd version! Great if your a heavy video user.

I frequently do glamour work and when shooting there isn't time to stand around waiting for data to write to the card. This card has worked flawlessly for me on many occasions.
