It is comfortable and provides the support for my abs to press against as I lift the weights, which help support the low back. The contouring helps with comfort, but I think it also compromises the stability a more traditional cut belt would have on my waist. I feel as if the side panels give or flex too much. Perhaps Schiek makes one out of a thicker or heavier nylon. I will personal check on that for myself.
Belt is fine, but not what I thought I needed.
Other than that, its good material, great construction, and it seems like it would hold up for a while. I have a 31" waist and a small fits with room to lose, def not room to gain. Maybe if you haven't had kids yet and your hips haven't spread this would work for you? I don't know.
Super sad this didn't work out for me. I really needed it for DLs and squats.
For reference, I have a 34" waist, 36" at belly button, and a Medium fits me fine, if not a tad large, though I don't think a Small would work for me.
The sizing is a bit strange. Luckily, a few ladies in my gym have the same belt, and I was able to size it out a bit. For those who can't try them out beforehand, I would recommend going smaller than you think. I ordered a small, which fits well, but I border between the xs and small. My shirt size is typically a small, and my pants range from small to medium (usually around a size 6).
