Customers like the bonding adhesive. They mention it works well for acrylic, pvc, and polycarbonate sheet to solvent weld. The results are stunning and it holds well even with cold temperatures. It also works great on PLA printed objects and club car window hinges.

Customers like the bond strength of the adhesive. It forms strong bonds, holds PLA 3D printed parts together reasonably well with clamp pressure, and provides a near-instant, perfect weld with no noticeable seam. Some say it's the ultimate product for welding plastic together and that it solvent welds rather than glues.

Flow control takes a little practice. I was expecting a little thicker fluid but after over filling the first joint in project I learned quick. All the joints in my project are welded water tight.I built a filtration system for an AIO aquarium. It was my first ever project with acrylic and I'm proud it turned out as nice as it did. Also 5 ounces is way more than you'd imagine. I basically still have a full tube.

Used it to "weld" my PLA prints together for my Iron Man helmet and it came out great. I wouldn't recommend solely relying on the glue itself. I would suggest doing a couple of plastic welds too for more structural support. The glue does have a pretty strong chemical smell, so you should work in a ventilated area with some gloves. I've used this on many of my smaller projects and still haven't run out so this will last you quite a while.

I know you can weld them together with a soldering iron but if it's just going to be for decorative pieces then this glue is more than enough.
Word of warning out the gate: This glue is NOT thick. Is is pretty runny, like the consistency of maple syrup or maybe even a bit less. Either way when you take the cap off carefully put the nozzle pointing slightly upwards and then gently tip if down until the glue starts to flow. I guarantee you the first few times will be messy but once you get the hang of it, it's gets pretty easy to apply.
This stuff smells pretty strong so make sure you have proper ventilation and/or a mask on. Since it does have MEK I do recommend wearing gloves as well.
Put the cap back on as soon as you are done applying it since thin layers will quickly skin over and dry. Not to the point you cannot remove it with a good machine shop paper towel but it will start to dry around the inside of the tip which can make pouring it out a bit more difficult next time. Seems like the fresh glue inside will dissolve lightly dried glue in the tube but if it has been left open for over a minute you might find that the top part has become gummy. Wipe the nozzle too cause this stuff will make removing the cap a real pain. You can do it with pliers if necessary but DON'T squeeze the tube while doing it or you will have a ton of glue ooze out all at once.
That aside this stuff will dissolve and dry pretty quickly so depending on how thick the layer of glue is you have about 20 seconds to a minute to squeeze the two pieces together. In less than a minute you can tell the two pieces are pretty well glued together and can start handling it. I give it a full 24 hours regardless just to be sure before I actually use any glued pieces.
So far any 3D printed pieces I have glued together have held up pretty well do everyday use. Decorative items are still glued together while some functional items have fallen apart from everyday use from simple stress wear and tear along the glued area. Either way I am impressed how long it does last before and if it finally breaks apart. I highly recommend this glue for anyone into 3D printing who needs to cut up prints into multiple pieces and then join then. I am going to experiment using less glue to be able to hold the parts together and then go over the joined parts with a soldering iron if I need a more solid bond but want to keep both hands free whole working on it.
I have used three tubes so far and every one has been worth the money.

It worked great. I think I need something with a finer tip because it comes out fast and therefore applied more adhesive than I needed and it looks messy. This isn’t the products fault. I’m just learning a new kind of project and now realize a needle tip applicator would be better and more accurate for my needs. Now that I’ve played with it I’m going to figure out a different was to use it because it set up quickly and it’s a very strong bond which is perfect.

Bought this several years ago when I started 3D printing and it works great. I've used it on a lot of different plastics since then. One caution, it can remove/cause paint to smear- so use it sparingly in the precise location you need.

      Packaged very well, great product!
    • Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2018
I had made some custom drawer inserts for my wife's silverware drawer. I used 1/8" Lexan and the original glue that I used did not hold up.
I had cut the pieces so they interlocked and they were now coming apart. After reading several reviews - some saying that this wouldn't work with Lexan and some saying it would - I decided to give it a try. IT WORKS! Those pieces are now fully integrated and solidly connected - I can lift the whole assembly out of the 17"x23" drawer and they don't wobble or rack at all.
This stuff is a little runny, so be sure to have your work surfaces covered so it won't damage them. It gels up and then sets up quite quickly (probably less that a minute) so have your ducks in a row before you start. Also, make sure your surfaces to be joined are VERY clean.
I needed to assemble the pieces in place, so I lined the drawer (bottom and sides) with parchment paper to protect the wood surfaces. I then dripped a couple of drops of the clue on the to of the joint so it would run down into the interlocking seams. I used a plain round toothpick to smooth the glue up and down the joint (keep several toothpicks handy). The glue set up quickly and dried clear.
Another tip is to have something to prop the tube up glue upright so it doesn't flow out when you set it down as you move from piece to piece.
As I mentioned before, the glue gels fairly quickly so I had to repeatedly ream open/clean out the tube tip as the glue coagulated around it. It's not a problem, but it's something to be aware of.
I love this stuff and I'll be using it on future Llexan and other plastic projects.

Remember the glue we used to use to assemble plastic model cars, planes, etc.? This is it. Works well with different plastics by partially melting and then "welding" the parts together. Can't beat it. Just don't go out and sniff your brains to mush or Congress will punish ALL of us and ban it because a few fools think it's great for a good high.
