Probably the best value 3.5" fan header on Amazon. The easiest way for me to talk about it would be with a pro/con chart so...
Pros:
-full metal construction
-lightweight but strong
-control nobs don't feel like they will break under everyday wear
-does its job
Cons:
-not as powerful as other models (mostly the 5.25" models)
-screw holes are a tad bit not in a good place
As I said, unlike most of the 3.5" controllers on Amazon this one is completely made of metal. And its not s*** metal either it's the real deal. Everything seems well built and sturdy and it just gets the job done.
However, and this might only apply to my system, but since it only uses one molex connector to power the unit, I didn't find it to have an exceptionally strong improvement in my fans. Before I ran 3 fans off the same header (don't ask me why gigabyte boards have no freakin headers) and I found my fans running a bit sluggish. This unit helped, but it was no where near as powerful as my 5.25" display controller that doesn't fit in my case. The screw holes to secure it in the bay are also no fantastic. If your system has a perfectly flat face, awesome. But my system has a rounded front, and there's about an inch gap between the face of the chasy and the face of the front panel so I was only able to use 2 screws instead of four.
Am I still satisfied? Yeah
Would I buy it again? For another system yeah
