HOWEVER, make sure it'll fit around your RAM (modules without tall, annoying heatsinks). it cleared just fine with RAM in my 4th slot (G.Skill DDR4-2400 without heatsinks, only a sticker). when i installed a second stick in slot 2 for dual channel, it cleared by less than 5mm.
took a Ryzen 2400G ($5 free ship AM4 adapter required) that runs at 100% CPU *and* GPU 24/7 for distributed computing that crept up to about 83C over the last 6 months on the stock cooler down to 54C just on medium Scythe fan speed on a dumpy old case with just an 80mm fan in the back.

My last computer had the fans die on it three times in 6 years of use and the computer was able to run passively for quite a while without any slowdown or damage. This was on the older model, which is identical other than fewer heatpipes compared to the Ninja 4.
Very quiet, very efficient, even on 100W+ CPUs. Fancier things come and go, but this is old-school Japanese engineering at its best.
This is the only CPU cooler I have used in the last ten years when I have been building fanless systems, as Its one of only two that I know of that can properly run almost any system passively.
*Note - be very careful of the fins as they are razor sharp*
BUT unfortunately, there was a discernible wobbling movement of the whole heatsink which would not disappear with anything I did. The wobbling would become worse at speeds between 1.3 to 1.4k rpm and would become much less above 1.5k rpm and below 1.2k rpm. This strongly points to an UNBALANCED fan. However, using another fan from Scythe, the Slip Stream 120 DB running at 5v, 7v, and 12v - NO wobbling was detected. The whole heatsink was free from any noticeable vibration/wobbling. What a disappointment, as I have now to use the Slip Stream fan and manually regulate the rpm via voltage control. Never expected that an UNBALANCED fan can come from the reputable Scythe brand. If it is any consolation, Scythe's double bearing Slip Stream 120 DB fan works flawlessly and almost vibrationless.
