But for the price, its not worth giving the item one star for five or six misaligned holes. These bits did not cost anywhere near $20-$30+. At that price I would expect a lot more. At the low price these were, I was not expecting much.
Overall a good product that works as you would expect it to work. The better construction and low price are definitely a bonus. I purchased this item at low or no cost in exchange for an unbiased, honest review. I was not compensated for giving a positive review. Therefore, please understand that these comments are an accurate reflection of my opinions.
Most of the supplied bits should work, except for the star bits with offset center holes. They are very low quality material however and should be considered single use.
So, if you need a case this is cheaper than the case only options here on Amazon, and you get the bits (and you never know when an odd bit may become useful). Also, if you have a one time need to access a device, this should get you through the task with minimal cost.
If you routinely access devices with a security fastener you would be far better off purchasing a higher quality dedicated tool.
Overall I wouldn't recommend buying these for any security bit application since the precision is so low that there's a strong chance it won't even work. Maybe some of the trip-wing bits would work alright, though with the overall level of quality I don't think they would last long in any serious or repeated applications. Also, it sounds like this set doesn't work for the Wii! I imagine it wouldn't work on any small computer or electronics devices as the bits are just too large and lack precision.
So in short, even at $4-5 it isn't worth it unless you know that you don't need precise stuff! Its better to just buy quality tools/bits in the first place. Though I did like the case/enclosure, so its not a complete loss.
