The "Rotary Tool" aka "Peticure" works well. The battery holds a charge. Obv does not produce the same power or torque as a brand name cordless rotary tool, but it does work. And it's hard to beat the price.
The only real con is that there is no trigger or safety mechanism required for the tool to activate. As soon as you turn the selector switch from zero, the tool powers on. it would conceivably be quite easy to accidentally power on.
Overall I am still very pleased, I used it for touch-ups on moldings and other small rough spots around the house, but would definitely NOT recommend this product for serious or professional use or as a true replacement for a Dremel.
One specific thing I should point out that may be a plus or minus (depending on the size of your hands) is that this thing IS a hand full, and I've got pretty good sized hands. It measures 10" long (with filing drum attached). The base is nearly 6" in diameter, and it weighs in at 12.5 to 14 oz. frankly these dimensions work fine for me. I'm a 6ft tall dude with good sized hands,as mentioned, but if you're a smaller person with more petite hands it could be somewhat awkward to use. Over all though, I like it. Hard to beat for the price.
